Chassis Cab is a family run business that holds the award-winning DAF Truck franchise for Suffolk, North Essex, and Cambridgeshire.

We are looking to recruit experienced HGV Technicians at our depot in Ipswich, Suffolk to work a four-on-four off shift pattern.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for Chassis Cab.

Hours of work:

Shift Pattern - Monday to Sunday 06:00 – 18:00 (11.5 hours per shift plus half hour break) Rotating on a four day on, four days off pattern.

The Role:

You will be mainly carrying out regular service inspections and MOT preparations on primarily DAF trucks but on occasions other truck brands. Fault finding, and conducting repairs on engines, gearboxes brakes, suspension systems etc. Completing paperwork such as job cards and service sheets, using our in-house DAF check electronic platform.

Qualifications and experience required:

City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance is preferred

The ideal candidate will feel comfortable using computers and have experience working within a main dealer environment

HGV Class 2 licence would be beneficial however not essential.
