GMA PROGRESSES FLEET INVESTMENT PROGRAMME

Warehousing and transport specialist GMA, continues its fleet upgrade programme with the delivery of four new DAF FTG XF 510 Super Space Cab tractor units. The recent acquisition offers added capacity for growth and reaffirms GMA’s commitment to fleet regeneration.

On the road this month, the new DAF FTG XF 510 units will join GMA’s two specialised DAF FTG XF trucks also purchased from Suffolk based, DAF dealership, Chassis Cab six months ago.

GMA Transport Manager, Peter Bennett, said: “Our additional investment in the DAF units is based on high vehicle specification, great fuel efficiency, vehicle reliability, after sales support and whole life cost. 

“They are award-winning, clean emission trucks with a reputation second to none – and we are delighted to have them as part of our business.” 

Assembled in the UK at Paccar’s Leyland factory, the FTG XF 510 tractors units have been added to GMA’s 30-strong multi-marque fleet which operates from East Anglia, throughout the UK.

David Scarff at Chassis-Cab, said: “We are delighted that our initial conquest sale has proved so successful, resulting in the subsequent order for four more DAF tractor units. Our trucks core values of safety, care for the environment and quality align perfectly with those of GMA.”
